Filmmaking Summer Camp!

Immerse your child into the world of story telling, collaboration, filmmaking, performance and so much more!

In this one week camp, kids between 8-12 will storyboard, write, perform and film their very own short film.

Campers will work together to create the concept for their story, imagine their own characters and film their creation all in the span of 5 exciting days.

Who Are We?

Garage Tapes is and acting studio owned and operated by husband and wife and local Vancouver actors, David & Carmel Amit-Attar and is based out of (you guessed it) our garage!

Throughout the year, the space is used to tape auditions, teach acting classes and is even equipped with a professional voice over booth.

What makes this camp different?

In this camp, your kids will be creating and collaborating!

We get outside and explore, using what the neighbourhood has to offer for shooting locations.

They’ll learn what it’s like to work on set not only as an actor, but a director, a writer, a camera operator, hair and makeup, lighting… all of it!

They will work for five days to accomplish the telling of a story and can proudly share it with friends and family!

Check out some of our finished films from past summers!
